Exploring our own toys

Today we have been exploring our toys and trying to identify which simple machine is in our toy.  We have had fire trucks, cats, nerf guns, derby bikes, barbies, trucks, aliens, helicopters, wooden puzzles, cranes, snails, and much more!!

The children did a great job exploring their toys and then going about identifying the simple machines.  The children could identify wheels easily.

Can you name the other 5 simple machines?  Please write them down in the comments area.  The first 5 people to do this can have a token.  Please remember to write your name!!!!

Today we looked at pictures of toys today and the children had to clarify where the toys should go.  They were very intrigued as to which category each toy went into!

We had a lot of very excited children this afternoon.

EARTH DAY!!

We were very lucky to spend some time down by our river to help plants some 300 trees last week.
