Today we made rockets. The materials that were given were a A4 piece of paper, straw, 30cm of tape. Check this out!! Was a great day.

Today the girls are working on using a number line to help them with their subtraction. Our whiteboard makes this easy to do!!! I ❤ Math!!!!

Wheels Day

Hi all,

Just a quick reminder that we have Pae Ake Wheels day tomorrow. Children need to remember covered shoes, wheels and all HAVE to have helmets.

You can bring bicycles, scooters and skate boards.

PAE AKE BIKE DAY POSTPONED

Due to the weather we are going to postpone our Bike day.

Will we be doing this on TUESDAY 22nd March instead.

Please bring a bike for your child to ride around our school.  They will also need a helmet and covered shoes.

Library books

Hi there,

Just a quick reminder that on a Thursday afternoon we walk down to the Awapuni library. Some students haven't been returning their books which means they are getting charged for over dues. So if you see any books lying around that belong to the library bring them in on Thursday and your child can get more out.

Kia Ora Whanau,

I would like to congratulate Georgia on receiving a 'Responsibility' pin for being responsible while she was on her independent computer time.  She not only dated her work and wrote in Google doc about her weekend, but she wrote a quality piece of work that showed she had used her time on the computer.

Well done, Georgia!

Please take a look at your child's work and comment on what they are writing about.  I really want these docs to be a line of communication between home and school.
