Wow!  Last night was a huge success!  Thank you to all of the whanau who came to help celebrate our children's amazing talent.

There were a lot of ooooohs and aaaaahs and congratulations being passed around the hall last night.  Here are some photos of our night.

Riverdale School's very own Time Capsule!!

We went through the time capsule that was created in 1996.  We found some things quite interesting especially... staff photos ha ha

We then discussed what we would talk about if we created letters to tell the future what it is like to be alive in 2015...

Week 8 Highlights

Where has the time gone?  We are already at the END of week 8...

Things we have done this week:

• finishing of our art for the Gallery
• made frames for our art - constructing and spray painting
• started pointillism
• started tessellation 
• worked on our symmetry skills
• practise our Narrative writing skills
• completed our Narrative writing for moderation
• explored art
• meet a bearded dragon (apparently the best part!!)
• brought in donations for the SPCA Animal Party

We are looking forward to watching the SPCA Animal Party.  We are wondering what we will be seeing during the show.
