Bike Day
Hi all,
Today was a very successful day, biking down the Bridal track to the Esplanade. The day wouldn't have been possible without our amazing parents, so thank you for coming along. It was lots of fun and it was awesome to see the kids enthusiasm and high spirits. It was a great end to our inquiry unit and end of term 1 with Pae Ake.
These are just a few snaps from the day, enjoy!

Bike Inquiry
We are looking in to how to wear a helmet safely while we are on our bikes. Take a look at our gorgeous models!!
Year 4 Hui
On Friday all of the school's Year 4s got together as one and had some bonding time. We got into teams and worked on our strategies to work as together.
We played Crocodile River. Each group had lily pads and lino squares for them to stand on and get their whole team across the river without anyone falling in and getting destroyed by the crocs!
This was working out really well, until Mrs Whitta changed the rules... You were only allowed to have 4 items to stand on and only 3 of those were allowed on the ground at any one time.
This got a bit tricky but we didn't give up!!!

Japanese in Whetu Piata
We are learning how to speak Japanese in our classroom at the moment. It is a lot of fun!! The kids are really enjoying themselves too.
I managed to capture them fully engaged with our Sensei. Take a look...
